The VW 411 is characterized by its own profile. The bow falls slightly forward - the windscreen, which extends into the roof, is steeply inclined (53°) and slightly curved. The roof, which reaches far to the rear, is steeply sloping and leads steplessly to the short rear. The elegant cut lines of the doors and windows result in a harmonious division of the side surfaces.


Wide-band headlights with wide chrome surrounds and turn signals in the fender corners characterize the front. The rear view is characterized by the large rear window and the large rear, brake and indicator lights drawn around the fender corners.



The self-supporting structure, in conjunction with the technically advanced axle construction, enables optimal use of space. The spacious passenger compartment is designed as a safety cell with high stability and, together with numerous other measures, offers a high level of internal and external safety.


In the front end, a deep, spacious trunk with a capacity of 390 l could be created, benefiting from the space-saving installation of the front axle spring strut. The fuel tank is installed behind the trunk.


On the underside of the car and the inner surfaces of the fenders, an extremely resistant PVC underbody protection has been sprayed on, which also has a positive effect on noise insulation.

The exterior finishes match the attractive and elegant exterior. The strong bumpers


with a resistant profile have a shock-repellent and shock-absorbing effect depending on the impact strength. Rubber strips are attached to the bumpers of the VW 411 L. The VW logo is attached to the front of the trunk lid.


The wheels are equipped with chrome hubcaps and decorative rims. Wheel cutouts, waistline and rain gutters have decorative strips, and all windows have decorative frames.


Protective strips below the doors and in the entrance protect the paint when getting in and out. The parking lights are mounted on the fenders in front of the doors. The lockable fuel filler flap is located in the right fender, behind which the filler neck opens. The large, foldable exterior mirror allows you to carefully monitor the traffic behind you.


The lettering with the model designations is attached to the rear cover. The lettering "automatic" also appears on vehicles with automatic transmission.





Durch große, weit öffnende Türen läßt sich bequem ein- und aussteigen. Kräftige Türfeststeller halten sie auch bei starkem Wind oder beim Halt auf ansteigender Straße offen. 


Beide Vordertüren sind von außen abschließbar. Die überrollsicheren Türaußengriffe mit innenliegendem Öffnungshebel und die Drehfallenschlösser mit Aufreißsicherung bieten zweifache Sicherheit.

The recessed pull handles, which are combined with a locking button on the front doors, the flat door window cranks with wide buttons made of soft plastic and the padded armrests designed as a pull handle are within easy reach and easy to reach.


The front door windows have a cut-out at the top for draught-free ventilation. The rear doors are locked with the safety button and also have an additional child safety device.


The rear side windows are detached. For the two-door models, however, hinged rear windows are also available as additional equipment.


An electrically heated rear window is also available as optional equipment for all models.
