We in Deuvet

The VW411-412 Friends eV is a member of DEUVET and thus supports the tasks and work of DEUVET as an important association in the classic car scene.


The DEUVET was founded in 1976 by an overwhelming majority of vehicle veteran clubs and oldtimer groups at the VETERAMA in Mannheim.


Cautiously, they first called themselves the “Working Group of German Veterans and Brand Clubs” in order to coordinate the diverging and common interests and to represent them unanimously in relation to insurance companies, authorities and politics.


The unwieldy name was soon developed into the success concept DEUVET and today, in accordance with its longstanding importance, bears the title "Bundesverband Oldtimer-Youngtimer e.V."


DEUVET is dedicated to the following tasks as a political lobby for the classic car and vehicle collector scene in Germany:


Advice and support for political parties and committees on vehicle history issues


  •      Advisory participation in parliamentary circles at federal and state level
  •      Formulation aids and balancing of interests in national and European legislation
  •      Participation in and reflection on the federal press conference
  •      Assistance to members in administrative matters
  •      Creation and processing of traffic and vehicle statistics
  •      Cooperation with motor vehicle liability insurance companies and national testing organizations
  •      Accompaniment of measures and campaigns for the qualification of car workshops
  •      Advice and support for members in matters of club formation and organization
  •      Organization and participation in classic car events
  •      Training and other services for members, placement of type officers
